The Cyber Threat Alliance (CTA) is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization that is working to improve the cybersecurity of the global digital ecosystem by enabling near real-time, high-quality cyber threat information sharing among companies and organizations in the cybersecurity field.
the challenge
The Cyber Threat Alliance approached Beam & Hinge after working with an independent developer to produce a new website. While the organization was mostly happy with the aesthetic design of the new site, their internal team found it difficult to manage and nearly impossible to create uniform posts and pages. Given the organization’s focus, implementing safety protocols was of utmost importance.
the solution
- Beam & Hinge maintained the aesthetic aspects that CTA liked, but moved the site to a bespoke WordPress theme that provided organizational structure for the group’s information-sharing categories.
We applied image sizing and focus to ensure that even images of disparate proportions appeared uniform on the site. - We reviewed and updated the site’s security stack, ensuring strict protocol while maintaining appropriate access.
