the challenge
SC811 required an online presence to facilitate educational training, requests for utility locates, reports of damage, and regulatory compliance. They wanted the site to feel friendly and approachable, and to be usable for non-English speakers.
the solution
- We implemented a site-wide language translator and also created a Spanish-language summary page that includes the most popular information and functions of the broader site.
- We created logical interactions with various third-party tools in cases where the organization did not wish to fully integrate via API.
- We implemented a live chat feature, allowing visitors faster access to SC811 personnel.
- We implemented a video library to provide on-demand training and helpful information for homeowners and professionals.
The way the neon brand colors pop off the rugged, earthy textured imagery gives this site a vivid energy and user experience.
